In the past 3 years, I have learned and grown so much in our Homeschool journey. I can't wait to share everything I have learned and discovered!
I started during Covid lockdown as that's when my daughter was finishing nursery. Prior to that, I had been researching online, anything and everything about Homeschool. I was brand new to this but had my heart set on it.
I am going to Homeschool, my daughter will not be starting primary school! Was I scared? Yes! Did I know what I was doing? Absolutely not! But I knew I wanted what's best for my children and I was willing to learn how. My passion and determination is what got me started.
I decided to ask my daughters nursery for advice. They gave me a printout about homeschool from the government website, which I had already read. I didn't really know who else to ask until I discovered Facebook groups called 'Home Education UK' and 'Homeschool UK'. This greatly helped me as all the posts were from people like me and experienced and well seasoned Homeschoolers were there to help and offer real help and advice. So, Step 1: Find a Homeschool community- Check!
